Wow, the various sources I consulted showed that new trends for fitness success include social networking (as we are doing here with our Facebook group and Shapeover Challenge event), stress-reduction AND the buddy system!!! Yeaaaaaa looks like we’re on the right track... Nordic or otherwise, ha!
Current trends: Bootcamp, hooping (as in hula-hooping), hot yoga & yogalosophy, power plining, barefoot running, Vibram 5 Fingers, Zumba, Vibrating
Tools
- Common sense! Even if outlandish weight loss claims are possible, regain most likely is as well. Here, unsurprisingly, are the tools most often cited for success:
- Variety
- Portion control
- Regular exercise
Tip
Be afraid. Be very afraid. Avoid fads at all costs, or they may cost you all!
