It’s a Plan!
Description
Don’tcha “love it when a plan comes together?” Do your best to plot out the next 6 weeks, taking into account ongoing commitments, special events, meetings, lunch dates with friends
To Do
Make everyone in your life privy of what you are up to in order to get their buy-in and support. Write it all down, post it on the fridge, email it, whatever it takes
Nourish Yourself
Plan WHEN to eat and cook and pre-make your lunch if you take it with you
Get Up & Go!
Plan WHEN to workout, allowing enough time for a proper warmup and cooldown.
Tools
Choose an organizational system, whether the time-honored Franklin Planner, Yahoo calendars, your Smartphone, a spreadsheet of your own devising, sticky notes
Tip
Don’t pack in too much or you will defeat your own purpose. The point is not to add stress, but to streamline things allowing you to more fully enjoy all that you do. Make a promise to yourself to plan plenty of time for sleep. A good night’s sleep can do wonders for your productivity
Find something you can slack on or do less often. And plan time to

Questions
What are you currently doing to waste time? What mind and soul-soothing fluffy pleasures are you not making time for that you should?
Thoughts
“Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend.”
Diogenes Laetius
"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love."
Marcus Aurelius
"If you want to make good use of your time, you've got to know what's most important and then give it all you've got."
Lee Iacocca
"Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you."
Carl Sandburg
"The key is to have a balanced life. Set aside a fraction of your time to carry out your dreams and ambitions."
Michael Lee, CPA, from Use Your Time Wisely!
Tidbit
“Do not start lots of jobs at the same time - even if you can handle different tasks at the same time it's not the most efficient way of dealing with them, so don't kid yourself that this sort of multi-tasking is good - it's not.” (from http://www.businessballs.com/time.htm)
“You've probably heard the saying "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail." At the project/task levels, poor planning is one of the main reasons projects fail, fall behind schedule or miss their deadlines. Without adequate planning, it is difficult to really understand what it will take to complete a project successfully. Lack of planning leads to inadequate preparation, unexpected problems, and poor execution.” (from: http://jobfunctions.bnet.com/abstract.aspx?docid=341706&promo=100511&tag=bn-left)
